Have you've never, you just watched thecaptions and stuff like that? I really do. I grab myself. I'm like, why didn't I flip it on it? Nevertheless, it's so much better using salad. Right. But it's like people consume at various times. Um, but what I found is if you can hook themif you can get that hook, whether it's about Facebook, on Youtube, on Instagram, you actually have them for 20 seconds and that 20 seconds should be your gold. It is like you need to reinforce that hook or you have to reinforce what your value proposition is to get them in, while it is a title or a thumbnail or however you're pulling them into that movie. You need to reinforce that since if you don't, you are likely to have the hockey stick effect. That means you know, and you not going to get anybody watching it.
Or perhaps linkedin. Yeah. And so that is part of the prep preparatory stage, right? And what we're trying to do is figure out, okay, here is what would work on Instagram. Perhaps there is something or a hook which's a tiny bit better on Facebook and here's something different on youtube. So that you may really have the meat of the content be the same. But how you are really shooting on the movie it's actually delivered is a bit different. And where you are actually planning that's, uh, you know, the different ways to connect on platform. It's like you have articles and it can be shared by you but it has to be changed. Yeah. Since the way that you view on Instagram differs. How you see on Facebook and how you see on Youtube, how different, the way you view onLinkedin or Twitter. And in the end of the day, what we need to do is really know how people consume content on this , that platform and earn content which would actually work. That, and uh's, that's the huge difference. Now you can go and say, fine, I will take a portion of this. It is like you might have a 10 second video on youtube, but you are going to only slice out possibly two minutes or three minutes on, on Facebook since it is going to perform a whole lot better that way.
So when you actually have these bullet points of things which would really get there, get there, get them something which's happening, then attempt to consider what value can you truly bring that individual. So there you may actually attract value. Uh, with video content you may aspire, you can instruct or instruct, entertain, and sometimes when you're really good you can do all three at precisely the same time or you'll be able to get two of them. That's when you are really, really great when you're really giving it a lot of thought in it. Now that having been said, as soon as you do that, I attempt to figure out what value you are going to bring to your planned viewer. Yeah. And in that video, I attempt to bring those bullet points and bring some kind of value. Yeah, like, like the movie portion of the video editing is so critical. It may make or break a video. Um, it doesn't matter how amazing your script is. It doesn't matter how amazing your production as well as your camera is. Where it really, the rubber meets the road to find out whether it is going to really work or not, the editing is. And for mepersonally, as soon as you're in a position to take action, it is worth the resources worth the time. When you actually put it together, it is going to convert a lot higher. That at the end of the day, that is by far uh, you know, the preparation stage, and um and it is similar to the implementation stage to the editing is the most crucial.
So Darryl, at the first video we discussed briefly on the sort of video content that you ought to be producing, what favor for anyone that didn't see that or just to refresh a few memories, which sort of video? What type of movie is that if there's 1 video you should create as a business, um? Yeah, for me it's a social video and just two to kind of take that a little further then, um, and sort of remind everyone which sort of video that's. They're like, you know and oh, this would be a lot better when we did so, take variations. Just like you've got time, just shoot some different variations. Hey, maybe this will work better than that. And you also know, that will help you the post production phase.
The article production is probably the most crucial aspect of having a really good piece of video out there. And the reason is because you put a great deal of work in preparing, you devote a lot of time doing manufacturing, but really where the magic is is actually getting the elements that will truly engage. And then the edit itself, um, is pacing can be created by you and pacing will keep people's attention the entire time. Like we are uh at is, we are working to determine how we're going to distribute it. So like we referred distributing on Youtube, we would do it differently than on Facebook. For instance. Because that's the way it is on youtube, we would be at a 16, nine ratio on youtube. Right? And, and then to, uh, we would burn in our captions. We would really just upload caption files directly to youtube itself.
Okay. Ready created the video. So we simply don't load it now. Yep. That you'd say the Majority of the individuals and say, okay that is just distribution
Concerning create one of them? Yeah. And it is really interesting because a lot of people, they are more about doing instead of preparing. And so he is like, actually? Exactly. And it's like the ratio we want to be a one by one ratio of square ratio. Right? So what other elements that we can really add to that file? Is it like to make it more of a video meme where we are placing texts the beginning of the end, um, you know, is it really engaging with different types of elements? That's the things you've got to consider when you're doing the video edit. The thing I love is we have choices like cause we need to we did five or four different versions and when we did the production directly.
Well let us just target everyone that enjoys Liverpool, right? And let's target everyone that does not like Liverpool. And let's see if we can get some, a few things. And I think you can do that with , but should you infuse a small bit of money, it will be interesting. The outcomes. You can get your silently. Definitely. I believe those secrets, uh, fairly incredible and, and anyone watching this video has an overview or a blueprint to make in not just a video publication. In the video we discussed the video marketing industry's condition. When producing content Basically what's working by now. So I'd say it would be people that are like hardcore Liverpool. Okay. And then we must begin breaking down of some of the things which they, they kind of rally round that would have them excited. And what would be among those things that you'd think, well, beating Manchester United goals.
And what is the first thing which you believe he's going to perform? Once that connection with the movie matches , probably share the video. He's going to discuss it with not just one individual, but he is gonna share with everybody that really likes what's going on, you know? And that there is outright critical. Then the next issue is, uh, actually hoping to describe what is a fantastic hook trigger just like you only have a few few seconds to grab his attention. And I think, okay, what do we do to grab his attention? You know? And, and maybe it is a caption over the video that says, you understand, Liverpool's sucks. Yeah. I think, I think this video would be watched by him. You understand what I am saying? And I think that he'd need to be sucked in as he tried to figure out what's happening in that video.
How you'd then strategy that. Yeah. We did lots of research ahead. We were doing a lot of preparation. We want to start executing on these things. Uh, and there's a formula for every video and this formula is exactly what founders will need to create for themselves. And there is a few components for this formulation that it, that it is universal for everybody. The very first one is, and that we prepared for is a hook. We need to grab their attention. Now that hook is different on youtube versus Facebook. Let me give an example of that to you. So like on youtube the hook would be like five seconds. And on Facebook it's gonna be completely different because you're, you might have audio on or not. As you're kind of flipping through their feed and you perhaps just have a possibly a second.
So with that, just to kind of go into that, and do you load the movie at first to your page then contact all these are the webpage to let them know it's never, or do you take another approach? Yeah, so generally I really do this at the phase. I understand I, the videos come in so I achieved because it might require a few weeks to get ahold of everybody or whatever. Uh, and who knows, maybe you're like, Hey, I will share your video should you share mine type thing. If you are doing PR crossposting 13, that's not a bad thing. Where the weight is uh, just to share a movie isn't. Like you have to literally cross post it and you have to give permission to cross post your articles to them. And the same for, you know, you're posting their content, but that's kind of the key on Facebook.
Obviously. Yeah, that is logical. Okay. So speaking about video editing from type of my experience and I am not a professional video editor and I understand how much work goes into doing lots of these things you say, you know, the, the captions Mimi finding, even just placing titles at the top and bottom of your movie may take hours to get some people and some people seeing this might not have any idea how to do that. So I guess in that respect, is it worth? Is it worth the time to sit down put with somebody in to editing the video or spending money to sort of,
So we've discussed the first phase of preparing for a movie preparation of movie. We then proceeded to obviously production and creating the video. So can speak a bit about
So if we talk about going onto every platforms, I think that really is, this is very important also. There are clearly, well I believe there are just two elements you may tell me. The first largest one that people think of is the ratio of the movie. Therefore, if you create in one video, you've got to think about all the other ones are transcribed into by that. However, is there other, anything else you'd type of want to be aware of if you're going to be generating content for say, Instagram or Facebook
Now presumably you'd choose the content you just shot with Reese in your telephone or whatever to an editing suite or to some post creation. I suppose. Can you kind of want to talk about everything you do at that point? Prepared to distribute
You've got two or three distinct versions of a video and you may test it to enjoy, like seriously what we do is we will just throw a couple dollars behind it and also see how it converts. If it converts really well, you do not need to spend that much money to work out if people actually click on it, engage with it, just how much they saw the video to find out whether it actually works. And connect with them on an emotional level and thus spending the time in place to making your movie engage with all the audience, it gives you a higher chance for them to actually share.
But the algorithm on youtube otherwise, you know, you'd do it differently onInstagram and different on Twitter. However, Facebook, I feel a great deal of people which are seeing this video need to capitalize on this and that is an easy way to sayhello look, if you could get this page which has a reach of let us say you understand, 10,000 enjoys that they really posted it, who knows how a lot of you is they are likely to get. Um, and, and you reaches out to these different pages posting and the analytics gets at which it moves straight back to your video. Yeah, it is really cool. No, that's cool. You have infused it with, together with ads, although now with mixed strategy, like for me, I enjoy organic. Paid advertisements by far is the best way to enter in the front of the right people at the right moment. And if you know what you are doing, it could be very, very effective. We are doing a video about Liverpool, right, if you do not understand what you are doing, it is still be effective because as soon as you say, okay?
It may sort of look like it is theirs. And that's a matter. So return to your example that we said, hey, if we are going to really make a movie about your brother along with his football team about Liverpool, whether it's good or bad or anything, I'd like make a list of every, uh, page on Facebook on Instagram that will be pro or con. You know, that because that is who we would like to target, that's who we would like to contact. And believe it or not, you know, becoming, uh, those connections with these individuals is a means to have growth. And I found that if you can get like five or six or 10 stations or pages which are similar to yours that are eager to share your content, I suggest that hastens your, your expansion, that explodes your, your reach and you are likely to have the views that include it if you truly have done a great job with your video.
Or when we think of gamers, possibly Mohamed Sala, he is, that Liverpool is best player may be hitting scoring from United, I do not understand. Yeah, yeah, you can do clips that are different such as this. But even talking about why they love, you know, Liverpool, correct. And, and also the behind it. Um, so I love to attempt and recognize a couple things. These are of what would that person that when he watches with video actually resonate with bullet points. And then two, I really do research. Like I want to go out there and also understand just how well I know someone, I'm like, what's happening out there? So I do some research online seeking to see whether there's anything that's trending. Especially when it's handling the issue at hand uh. So like for Liverpool, is there anything that is going on that would be in the information that would be applicable to, to the movie now?
And thus you must fortify it. And, and that point when we were speaking about your brother, it's like if you add one of those other components which resembles, yeah, yeah, I enjoy this movie. You know, you're like go from there. That's where he will stay on a bit more. And if you get 20 check here seconds, if he will get to there and actually feel some type of link to the video, they'll watch another moment, doesn't then result in more involvement on the movies as well. So then they would be more prone. And 12 we see comments. It's like as you are connecting with them and you're talking their language or however you're going into it, you're connecting with them on an emotional level and they feel part of something and they feel like dumb. It that humanity feels bound to perform.
Yeah, that makes sense. And once you've been through those phases a few times I suppose from looking at these three stages, and as you state, you do edits too, which can be important. And most of us would, you know, she video, I have been guilty of this in the past and we'll throw it up believing it's prepared without too much post stuff that is edited. But now I can see how important as when you discover you may continue following that blueprint over and over and over again, it's to do different variations. We're going to discuss the one sort of movie in order to blow up your small business you have to have, but not about what that video is. We are also going to discuss the way to structure and create that video too. Let's go.

Um, but something I wish to circle back really quickly is you mentioned if you're creating video and one of the thoughts everybody has, I mean, I have had this before when I've created videos, I'll just share the same video everywhere. Can you kind of elaborate on why that's a bad idea? And that's a kind of a idea process.
So it's like getting these pins. And two, there is those hooks within the movie. Like he got himyou got to fortify whatever that name is. And I give that some thought. Um, and that the preparatory stage before you actually move onto the next step. But there is one other thing I really, really consider is that which, what source of moderate are we likely to use? Like is it going to become a much better Instagram one then than Facebook? Is it going to be much better on youtube or on Twitter? You know, what's likely to be the ideal method and like you got to examine the platform of that you're trying to reach. Now, among the biggest errors, it's like, well I'll just distribute it anywhere, you know, and you're creating a movie seeking to go on every platform and that is a massive mistake. Yeah.
You're good. Uh in the event that you want your video to be viewed, you need to actually have a prep stage of how you're going to disperse it. So back at the stage, you're like, okay, who is going to discuss this video? How are you going to engage with them? You know, is it going to be done through advertisements natural or is it going to be a strategy in which organic being done by you and adds together? Uh, for me personally, I just love other stations on the market. I love other webpages on Facebook reason they need to really nourish the algorithm. They need to actually obtain their posts outreach increased. And a lot of individuals are prepared to share your video. Uh they are, they're able to cross post your video. And therefore it's like coming from their page and it is like an content it isn't theirs.
It's like once you find something cool and you're like, hey, you gotta check out this. You know, we have to do that. We have to that word of mouth. And that's where it's so potent and that's what the videos that are social do. And after the core, basically of the content, you have to get a call to action. Um, and, and you might not think, well, though it's a societal movie, I am not really doing it , you know, it's just more of an inspiration or it's merely a [inaudible] or anything. Or if it's to market goods, we need to, you know, hit on that button directly or to push them into a landing page. Uh, you know or whether it's for inspirational, maybe it's like some thing or a Hashtag to combine a trigger, I mean the list goes on.
